A Vivi Budapest olasz-magyar kulturális Egyesületet 2010-ben alakult meg. Az Egyesület célja az olasz-magyar kulturális kapcsolatok fejlesztése, az olasz kultúra ápolása, magyarországi ismertségének növelése, a Magyarországon található olasz vonatkozású kulturális örökség védelme. Az egyesület célja továbbá magyarországi olasz-magyar kétnyelvű közösség kulturális életének fellendítése, élményalapú kulturális és oktatási tevékenység segítségével, közösség formálás, a közösség tagjainak támogatása különböző területeken, tradíciók életben tartása, környezeti, szociális és társadalmi érzékenyítés.
Az „Olaszország tánclépésében” rendezvényt az Erasmus+ „Dél-olasz népzene és néptánc tanulása” projekt részeként szervezzük. A projektben együttműködő partnereink a World Music Academy ETS Cultural Association (Puglia), a Taranta Tradizioni Popular Cultural Association (Firenze) és a Macomer Folk Tradizioni Popular Association (Szardínia). A projekt célja, hogy a Vivi Budapest Egyesület tagjai részt vegyenek olaszországi olasz néptánc és népzenei képzéseken, minél több olasz néptáncot, valamint hangszeres és vokális népzenét tanuljanak meg, hogy a zenei és táncos rendezvények még színvonalasabbak és változatosabbak lehessenek a jövőben. Hosszú távú cél egy néptánccsoport és egy olasz népzenei zenekar működtetése Budapesten.

Questa volta vi portiamo musica popolare e danze popolari dell'Italia meridionale, dalla colorata Italia a Budapest. Vi regaliamo un assaggio del mondo delle tarantelle, del ritmo incalzante della pizzica pizzica e della gioia di ballare insieme. Lo scopo dell'Associazione è lo sviluppo dei rapporti culturali italo-ungheresi, la diffusione della cultura e la lingua italiana in Ungheria. Inoltre l'Associazione ha come scopo aiutare l’integrazione degli italiani che vivono qui. Per realizzare gli scopi prefissati organizziamo eventi culturali, sociali e istruttivi sia per bambini che per adulti. L’evento “Italia a passo di danza” viene realizzato come parte del progetto Erasmus+ “Imparare le danze popolari e la musica popolare italiana”. I nostri partner cooperanti nel progetto sono Associazione Culturale World Music Academy ETS (Puglia), Associazione Culturale Taranta Tradizioni Popolari (Firenze) e Associazione Folk Tradizioni Popolari Macomer (Sardegna). Lo scopo del progetto è che i membri dell'Associazione Vivi Budapest partecipino a corsi di formazione di danza popolare italiana e musica popolare in Italia, imparino il maggior numero possibile di danze popolari italiane diverse, nonché musica popolare strumentale e vocale, in modo che i nostri eventi di musica e danza siano ancora più di alta qualità e diversificati. Un obiettivo a lungo termine è quello di gestire un gruppo di danza popolare e un'orchestra di musica popolare italiana a Budapest. This time we bring you southern Italian folk music and folk dances, from the colorful Italy to Budapest. We give you a taste of the world of tarantellas, the fast-paced rhythm of pizzica pizzica and the joy of dancing together. The aim of the Association is the development of Italian-Hungarian cultural relations, the diffusion of Italian culture and language in Hungary. Furthermore, the Association aims to help the integration of the Italians who live here. To achieve the set goals we organize cultural, social and educational events for both children and adults. The “Dancing around Italy” event is organized as part of the Erasmus+ project “Learning Italian folk dances and folk music”. The aim of the project is for the members of the Vivi Budapest Association to participate in Italian folk dance training courses and folk music course in Italy, learn as many different Italian folk dances as possible, as well as instrumental and vocal folk music, so that our music and dance events will be even more high-quality and diverse. A long-term goal is to run a folk dance group and an Italian folk music orchestra in Budapest.
